i don't think it's much to ask that, as a newcomer to a community, you expend a little effort to learn the customs. every forum on the internet has a faq; read it before you post. if you don't, you should expect sanction.

lol, it's not like a forum is some kind of appliance with crazy instructions. i'm pretty sure the standard procedure is:

1) think forum is kinda cool
2) register
3) start posting

it does not go:

well, it shouldn't take a FAQ to realize that you shouldn't start a poker thread in OOT. i mean, you look at the forum and it should be obvious they aren't talking poker.

anyway, a person with 8 infractions was bound to rack them up whether he read the FAQ or not.

thankfully, i have zero infractions (although i know i deserved at least one, good god i still don't know what i was thinking with that post, lol)
