I'm going to watch some hockey (real hockey, not that stuff played on ice) and greko-roman wrestling, the latter because it was the only thing that still had tickets left and was convenient to do with the hockey.
Ugh. First time I'm in the US during the Olympics, and I feared this. Always LOLed when we'd be at home watching CBC coverage of pretty much everything live, and then flip to whatever american network was covering it and see nothing but their regular programming. With 15,000 different channels and several hundred devoted to sports (yeah, I'm exaggerating LDO), why is it so difficult to show live Olympic coverage in a sports-obsessed nation?
It is mind-boggling that they aren't showing every event live.
