Can we require Phelps to eat a pound of pasta during each race just to make it fair for everybody?

Wow, Phelps. Ryan had a good race but just not enough left in the tank.

US olympic swimmers: hey these guys aren't that bad.

Seriously though, how great of a 2nd week is Phelps gonna have? He just became the most decorated Olympian ever, he doesn't have to train for a meet for a while, he just gets to get hammered in the Olympic Village every night and probably nail any piece of ass he wants to.

My friends in Ann Arbor and I have been talking this week, how proud of themselves are all the bar skanks that have hooked up with Phelps while he went to school here?

Phelps doesn't need to be checked for doping, he needs to be checked for god damn gills.

Prior to these Games, I'd watched maybe five swim races in my life. Now I can't miss one; finals, semis. I'm so into this.

Michael Phelps is going to make an assload of money in the coming years (not that he's doing badly now at $5 million per in endorsements).

I expect a vote from the IOC in a few months to remove swimming from the games because it has become too American.

Yeah I don't know when he's scheduled to move back to Baltimore but as if he already couldn't hook up enough (I've heard of an apparent epic fail he had actually) how could you pass up just hanging out and running around with your shirt off and a billion gold medals around your neck for that week?

Anyone has any comments on this?

In short, Swedish wrestler Ara Abrahamian gets bronze in his weightclass but at the prize ceremony he takes the medal, throws it on the ground and leaves. The reason for his behavior is that in the semifinal he was unfairly judged against and lost because of it.

The situation was something like this: 2nd round Abrahamian gets awarded a point for not getting throwed/rolled by the other guy. 30 seconds later (between the rounds) the referee gives him a penalty resulting in the other guy winning. Reason for the penalty was at first something about a lock or something, but they later changed it to that Abrahamian had crawled out from the ring (wich, if you look at any clip from there he hadn't - half of your body has to be outside the ring; he had a hand). The other guy had done the same thing earlier (being even more outside than Abrahamian) with no repercussions.

When mr AA was protesting just after the match one of the judges even laughed at him.

I don't know anything about wrestling, but after watching experts and other wrestlers comments about it, the judges clearly was in the wrong. Like scandal clearly wrong.

Corrupt sport anyone?

I wonder if he just puts on all his medals at once for the hell of it? Except not the Bronze, Stan Verrett is still using that as a coaster.

If I was the US coaching staff I would have instructed lochte and or piersol to pretend to lose a contact there for about 5 minutes imo.
