USWNT team has been getting worse for the last few years while the rest of the world gets better. Most of the USWNT were too busy thinking they were totally awesome to realize that though.

Well considering it was 3-2 in favour of U.S. when she missed and Sweden only had one penalty left then yeah I'm pretty confident they would have won.

Rapinoe was the fourth player up for the US. Since the US started the shootout, only 3 Swedish players had taken a penalty at that point.

Why exactly would Sweden have only one penalty left at that time?
