lol, "guy with connections on IC". i don't even know how to respond and i'm not tryin to get into stupid debates, but yea, ty does play a lot of poker, i play with him in a couple games around chapel hill/durham. Um, played with him last night, so I guess he's in the state, he said he is declaring so i guess expect that announcement soon, unless he changes his mind which I don't see.

i agree, i kinda hope he changes his mind and/or somehow comes back next year, not just because he'll improve his draft and all that, but it's kinda cool to play/hang out with a guy on the college level who you know is like about to become a millionaire and jump into the nba life.

gaah. i guess injury risk is a concern but if he stays he can improve his j and lock himself into the lottery for next year whereas now he's going to have to have ridiculous workouts to get in

I read my earlier post again and I realized how it came off and I didn't mean to make it sound like I didn't believe the legitimacy of your info. I was just trying to say that there have literally been 2,535,598 stories over the last week about what the big three are going to do.

Chad Ford is writing at ESPN that after NBA Draft committee meeting that PsychoT is projected as a late 1st. Ty and Wayne are looking like top of second round (aka out of guaranteed money land) as it stands now.

I am not going to get into rumor mongering. Its pretty obvious right now that even with great workouts the only person with a chance to move up to the lottery is PsychoT. And its very possible with bad workouts these guys could slip way down, including in one scouting report out of the draft completely for one of them. It makes no sense to me for any of them to leave right now, unless they just can't take the college life anymore.

And this is near impossible when the college life is taking place in the college town of Chapel Hill.

Not sure about anyone else who attended school there, but I really felt like I was dying when I had to leave, and I wasn't a BMOC like these guys.

I was in a loose circle of friends that included Dante Calabria during his last two seasons on campus, and if these guys are living the life I saw Dante living I don't see how you could leave even for lottery money IMO.

I think Tyler has the best pro prospects after his current season in comparison to Ty/Ellington but he's staying. I hope he doesn't get hurt, but as a UNC fan I'm damn happy he's staying.

I think Lawson is gone, I know the guy posted here he wasn't going to get a agent. I think that changes once the agents come flashing the $$$$.

Ellington depending on what he is going to hear which I imagine is not going to be alot of good news. Since not one projection or mock has him going in the first, some already have him way down in the second round. I'm guessing he comes back unless the agent front money gets to him as well.

You knew PsychoT was coming back when Gene Hansbrough was more focused on Ben leaving Miss St. than he is on T going pro. I don't think it was ever a decision for him to leave.

Green entering is a prime example of a guy entering because of family in desperate need of money and I am sure his father getting courted by agents.

Yeah. Depending on who goes or doesn't go to the NBA Draft the talent level/depth is getting thinner. Yes, we have great freshmen coming in but freshmen have learning curves that will stunt the team's results for next year.

Reports from NBA Draft camp have Ellington and Green playing poorly and not looking good enough to get into the draft at all.

Lawson on the other hand owned the scrimmage session today and is solidifying his 1st round status.
