It was the 7th inn and Doc is cruising...and it's MFing Roy Halladay. Stepping out on him TWICE is not gonna rattle an 11 year vet that is one of the best 3 in the game (if not THE best?) It's a scumbag move
if they ever pulled a move like that in the NLCS, guaranteed cox makes sure he never pitches another day in his life

Pull him? hahaha. He's on like 8+ days rest and has a 2.4 inch ricky. Also, if there is a game 4 he's on full 4 days rest. GTFO

tdomeski has some sort of weird crush on the phillies like angelina had/has on MVP- he just won't let the phillies out of his sight and must find a way to always be involved in anything phillies related. Maybe he'll get drunk and make his avatar a phillies emblem as he's ordering halladay jerseys.

Look at his exit from Toronto. When he comes back next year and pitches in Toronto in interleague, he'll get a standing O and keys to the town. Even die-hard Jays fans wished him well and good luck in landing with a contender.

He's been class his whole career. Phiily is lucky to have him.

I watched him do this in Toronto for years, with his perfect game this year and the no-hitter tonight, I'm glad he's getting the USA exposure he deserves.

I hope Phil end up playing the Yankees so that NYY can feel "OMG I thought we saw the last of Doc...."....lol

lolwut? The Jays (and Expos) were in no way less exposed merely for being Canadian teams. Roy has always had exposure here. Just not playoff exposure or "big stage" exposure or whatever. But a lot of good US pitchers suffer from that, too.

ehhhh i tend to disagree with u about the expos..my dad was (now likes the nats) the biggest expos fan u could imagine and he used to force us to go on road trips to montreol and watch them play and it was pathetic..their was mb 2k ppl in the stadium..they had the area from just behind 1st and 3rd base bleechers blocked off..so their was no possible way of catching a hr ball or even long-ish foul ball..granted, this was when they were going threw the process of being contracted and they didnt get it, but they also didnt deserve it..they were denied the availability to expand their roster at the end of the season which was also bs (and no im not an expos fan haha) the only season they had a chance at winning that division their was a strike lol..they would have beaten the braves that yr had they played out the season imo

but as for roy halladay he def got exposure...if ur that good and u play on a decent team/in the AL east everyone will know about u..same goes for the expos who had B. colon, J. vazquez, J. vidro, vlad, L walker, M. grissom, W. cordero ...everyone who knows baseball knew who these guys were (they had randy johnson before he could throw strikes haha) but all im saying is halladay and other players who play in canada def get exposed..but the expos just didnt much in their last yr or 2 minus their puerto rican trial stadium games lol

Unless you went exactly on September 5th 2002, there was always more than "maybe 2k" at Expos games.

The closest they came to getting a hit was relief pitcher Travis Wood's line drive that Werth caught.

Cabrera = confused. Still in shock. wants to cry.

prohorn, what I meant was the Jays were never in the Sunday night game of the week rotation, and the pitchers from the big team/main US markets always got nore press.

Forget the playoffs, Halliday got more exposure this year when he was pitching good and was only 8-6 or something and Philly was in a funk early on. He got that exposure due to the team he was on and the market they held.

Yeah it's not like Cabrera has any concept of the strike zone anyway. The guy walked 28 times in about 500 at bats....would really love to see Janish playing. The Reds would have lost 1-0 with him at SS!
