He said Wentz is better than Foles at everything. Foles isn't that bad and has a number of accolades that Wentz doesn't have. Like Wentz could have done everything and more than what Foles did if healthy but the big thing is Foles did them. We're very results oriented in sports and why should this be any different?

Foles would play for 7.5 as Philly's backup, but wouldn't he demand a raise/holdout immediately if a team attempted to trade for him to start? (Although teams may assume this before dealing for him).

He can certainly get alot more than he's making, and still not be as cost prohibitive as the top earners.

This is real talk from someone who has seen 95%+ of all Wentzs snaps in college+pros.

Year 2 peak Wentz doesn't hit the highs that Foles had this playoffs. Foles hit EVERY throw accurately whereas Wentz still throws high and inaccurate sometimes. Wentz would have more "special" throws but BDN torched these playoffs.

I don't think I'd settle for less than a #1 for foles. Cap in the NFL is a joke and they will be smart and not rush Wentz.

This season I think demonstrated to me that DP can win with any above average starting qb. It's such an amazing feeling. Wentz should be top 5 for 10 years. Could see another 2-3 chips! What a time to be alive!

No reason to with this team. Young, most of the team is coming back, either have 2 QBs you can win with or some extra high round picks, and an elite coach who pushes every edge. The league is obviously going to try to adjust to the Eagles' offense as they try and implement some of the concepts themselves but if Dougie P doesn't get lazy like Chip he'll stay far enough ahead that it'd be pretty shocking if the Eagles didn't playoff next year. Pats are the favorite next year because the AFC East sucks and the AFC is much worse overall than the NFC.

Foles just legit played 2.75 playoff games flawlessly against good to great defenses. With the way Wentz likes to play I'd bring him along slowly and sit him the first half of the season. Let Foles start and then reevaluate.

it was wentz's 100% wim which got him injured on that play against whoever he was skull****ing that day (the rams i think?), which started a sequence of events that ultimately led to an eagles superbowl victory. doesnt get more clutch or more wim than that

now ofc if wentz hadn't been injured they most likely woulda still won it, probably in more comfortable fashion, but you cant know that for sure
