Sutter fits into a group of coaches like Torts that have short term success but than their hard nose act wears off and they get fired. Short term this may work for the Leafs but than you lose players.

I mean I dont really see the difference, he himself had his agent going to MLSE to demand for more, obv you at least are in a negotiation for a new contract (if he had one offered at the time of the press conference?). Back in 2018, VGK's run to the SCF was magical but deep down I thought they were up against it vs. the Capitals. Just felt like it was Ovechkin's destiny to win the Stanley Cup.

I don't have that feeling at all this year. I do think VGK is a more complete team than the Panthers. I will be legitimately disappointed if they don't win the SCF.

haven't thought about this series too much, would have guessed that vegas were decent favs due to being a better team (panthers on a heater, especially bobrovsky), but i just saw that the evolving wild twins have the panthers as big favs, weird. athletic has vegas with a slight edge.
