I mean I dont really see the difference, he himself had his agent going to MLSE to demand for more, obv you at least are in a negotiation for a new contract (if he had one offered at the time of the press conference?). Not like its some offer you are contemplating as a yes or no. Dont really mind, people do much worse when negotiating. Also a very tough spot to hold a press conference after a brutal series loss, maybe just better not to open up and say you will take a few days. But do think its weak.
Anywhoo, I do think he was a good to great hire for Pitt. Is the Duck hopefull for future? Not an easy gig to start at Pitt with their cap and contracts Id think, but Dubas should be a smart guy for the job. First job is to get rid of Granlund
