It's officially Tampa Bay vs Toronto again. Edmonton is in playoffs now as well.

WC2 preferred opponent order

Sabres - awful defense, no goalie
Penguins - mid at everything
Islanders - awful but frustrating to play against/goalie, PDO riders
Panthers - good xG and possessions numbers, awful PK but our PP sucks now and there's no penalties in the playoffs

Home ice for Toronto not in the bag here. Should be a good finish!

A crazy rumor last night that Curtis Joseph (CUJO!) was the emergency goalie for the Toronto Maple Leafs,LOL It has been denied but found it funny.

Buffalo 6 on 3 to end it and Dahlin shoots it out of the zone lmao

that'll do it for the Sabres

Last year I thought Skinner was there goalie of the future and should have played in the playoffs.

They just look so good other than once the playoffs come will the D hold up

Cassidy is getting a lot of wins out of what is not a very strong VGK lineup on paper, pretty impressed by that coaching job.

he's a great coach but isn't good with young players and can lose a room because he's a hard ass

Hard ass... or are players getting softer?

The great debate continues...

Both when you consider the young players. But he pissed Krejci off enough to literally leave the country and Bergeron/him only came back when Cassidy was gone, too.

i would never bother with those kind of coaches unless maybe i have a veteran team with a closing championship window, or in an interim situation when you're changing coaches mid-season and you're trying to salvage something that year. it can work in the short term, but over the long it's just a total drag to go into work every day if you're boss is a complete ******* all the time for no reason. normal ppl don't like it and avoid it if they can, and millionaire athletes are no different. hmm maybe there's a reason why gaudreau and tkachuk got the **** out asap. and they chose sutter over them? ok, glgl with that

Stanley Cup winning coaches since 2000:

Jared Bednar
Jon Cooper x 2
Craig Berube
Barry Trotz
Mike Sullivan x 2
Joel Quenneville x 3
Darryl Sutter x 2
Claude Julien
Dan Bylsma
Mike Babcock
Randy Carlyle
Peter Laviolette
John Tortorella
Pat Burns
Scotty Bowman
Bob Hartley
Larry Robinson

A good argument could be made saying at least half of them would be considered "hard-asses."

Not confirmed at all and most likely fake news but seen $6000 a ticket for Leafs Round 1 game in the 100 level, lol.

Seeing $360 a ticket to almost $1200 on ticketmaster.

Game 1 on Stubhub for the Leafs:

That's a hard pass.

Great expense for governmental and telecommunications organizations...
