Everyone is still tired of Tampa like last year and wants to see new teams get farther? Of course, everyone wants to see the above, lol.

I didn't know if the Jets would ever win again.

Saturday vs. Edmonton:

Connor Scheifele Niederreiter
Ehlers Stenlund Wheeler
Barron Lowry Namestnikov
Maenalanen Gustafsson Jonnson Fjallby

Ideally in the playoffs with Perfetti, Dubois and Appleton:

Connor Dubois Niederreiter
Ehlers Scheifele Wheeler
Perfetti Namestnikov Appleton
Barron Lowry Jonnson-Fjallby

With everybody healthy you are scratching 3 or 4 bona fide NHL players.

I would really like to see them try Jonnson-Fjalby with the Lowry line because he brings the speed and danger that line had with Tanev, but he's only up with the Jets on an emergency basis, he cleared waivers to be on the Moose, so that may have to wait until next year.

I guess with Appleton and Dubois and without Perfetti:

Connor Dubois Niederreiter
Ehlers Scheifele Wheeler
Barron Lowry Appleton
Maenalanen Stenland Namestnikov

Maenalanen Gustafsson Jonnson-Fjallby seemed to have a lot chemistry Saturday. What you really need to do with the 3rd and 4th line over these last few games is work out what combinations are going to work.

As for the D, I love Stanley but they always lose with him in the line-up. I suppose it depends on the team being played. Stanley sure pissed off the Oilers Friday, and pissed off the Jets Wednesday and Friday.

Morrissey DeMelo
Pionk Dillon
? Schmidt

The Morrisey DeMelo pairing had been effective against Edmonton until Friday. I don't know if you abandon it now. DeMelo has deserved playing in the top 4, but I've always thought Dillon and Schmidt should play together, but is DeMelo good enough to carry the 3rd pairing? The real question is who gets that 5th spot. Bowness really wanted Stanley there but that may be over, or it may depend on the team being played or how the refs are going to call the game.

The other contenders: Capobianco, Samberg and maybe Heinola. Heinola, if he was ready, but I don't know if he ticks the boxes. He moves the puck really well, and breaks up plays often, but he's not a physical threat, although not as tiny as I think of him.

I really have to rewatch those Oilers games.

I thought Stanley played ok in the Friday game.

I'm not sure what the problem was, lots of little things and bad bounces.

Everything was going fine until DeMelo got kicked in the face. Before that there was a lot scrambling, but after that they would just pass the puck directly to the Oilers. Maybe don't do that.

Morrissey and DeMelo were on for 4 of the goals, but I wouldn't just blame them, except when they were making terrible passes.

Over the last month, there are lots of passes the Jets make in their own end that go to a player who gets pressured immediately, and often by two opponents.

yeah after the same i saw:
1. the laffs are .500 against the woat teams this season, unlike the bolts/bumz
2. they're like 2-16 in the last 18 trips to vancouver lol
(funny bc the canucks have sucked for most of that)

anyway, this is their year!

Are Toronto really trying to catch the Devils? Only comes into play by the conference finals. I guess everyone wants home ice, but I doubt that one matters that much. Plus even if Toronto gets more pts than the Metro winner, they don't get home ice to the Metro winner (which is essentially what's happening here).

Any word on the ROR severity yet?

Meant passing them Conference standings. I miss the old way of 1 vs 8 etc etc, :/

Ryan O'Reilly has broken finger and out which is not good and Tavares is also going to miss Tuesday's game I am hearing.

DeAngelo speared Perry in the nuts late in the game. He got 5 and a game misconduct.

But, victimless crime?

Why would you want to fight Perry when you are only down 4-2 with 3 minutes left in the game? Seems to me you would want to be on the ice if you are the greatest offensive defenseman in your own mind.

why do I need a streaming service to watch a game when I already pay for streaming tv? worst timeline

somehow cord cutting has become the worse option

were the sabres 3 on 5 all game 2nite?

vgk give up 2 goals vs. an empty net..but still somehow win in OT. vgk have to be the worst team in NHL history at scoring an EN goal. Like, I can't ever remember them scoring one.
