Blackouts are so effin annoying. Every Canadian team game is on Sportsnet or TSN. But if you're not in that specific teams region, the game is blacked out. So dumb. Just results in people streaming it from various internet sites. Good job Gary.

national tv rights vs regional
all tsn has left is regional, they can't show it nationally

idk what sportsnet is doing, have heard ppl say they've bought all the packages and games still get blacked out, which sounds stupid and annoying. but if you haven't, then yeah regional games outside your region will be blacked out # capitalism

I have Sportsnet pacific, West, Central, Ontario, east.
If you're not in the specific region for regional games, they are blacked out.

Agreed I moved from Edmonton to Kimberley BC and a majority of games are blacked out . So I can't watch Colorado at Edmonton but can watch Seattle at Boston .
I from the old days were home games were blacked out in the home region only unless sold out

yeah i this is so stupidly patronizing

didn't like it last year either and there it kinda made a little bit of sense because they were attempting trick shots blindfolded or having little kids sub in to take the shot

this is basically saying we need to treat women like we would if a 5 year old were taking this shot

I haven't been to a Flyers game in years. I was actually more excited to see McDavid and while he definitely had his moments, I thought the Flyers played him fairly well. Honest, I'd hoped the Flyers would be worse this year. While I like Provorov... TK, Laughton, Frost, and Sanheim were the best players tonight. I haven't watched much this year, but Risto got a good extension? Yikes. I like Farabee quite a bit, but either he's hurt or he simply can't skate in the NHL.

The highlight for me was yelling at Gritty to get down in front and him giving me the side-eye.

The fans booed everything.

The guys next to us were cool as was the woman behind us. Luckily, the people in front of us, who were talking about Duke basketball most of the time, were only there for maybe 12 minutes total.

I honestly hope a smart team trades for Frost. He was so impressive for someone who the franchise seems to hate.

And I really did enjoy it.... it's been a while

And weren't 5 of the 6 Canadian teams early starts ... only TO had a 'normal' start time.
