Was a good game. The band was a nice touch, playing all the typical B's songs.

And we suck again.

Detroit looks pretty good for a bad team.

Jets looked like they should have won that for most of the game.

they have a nice thing going there

Bruins were rusty after 3-4 days off and was a trap game with the Leafs up next

Blackouts are so annoying.

Pittsburgh...so, the Jets shoot the puck, the goalie catches it, has it for more than 2 seconds and the whistle never blows, why? Malkin goes up the ice behind the defence, the goalie drops the puck, I assume the ref is telling him to move it, he drops it to a defenceman, the pass goes to Malkin for a partial breakaway.

That and the no-goal, goalie interference call are terribly suspicious.

The Penguins got stuck on part-one of their usual game plan, they are only on to part-two now.

Pittsburgh game plan: Try to out-skate them, if that doesn't work, try to out-hit them, if that doesn't work, dive, dive, dive.

Oh, how did Scheifele get so open? 4-1.

And the diving begins, I'm not sure what Malkin was trying to sell there.

Devils 17-2-1 road record is ridiculous.

they can't consistently win at home though. VGK and the Devils are having similar problems. it's strange.

but yes the kraken's improvement this year vs. their inaugural year is quite impressive. barring a slew of injuries, they're probably going to wind up winning the Pacific Division.

I really wish I understood the logic. Like...when home games used to be blacked out, I could understand a bit (they wanted to encourage people to actually go to the games instead). I don't get what the rationale is behind blacking out Edmonton at Los Angeles when I live in Ontario.

Caufield out for year. Slav out too for a long while, but that doesn't really help the tank. Shame I wanted to see both. Hope the small CC isn't injury prone going forward and Slav...well imo he needed to be shut down or sent down. Too young, doesn't protect himself. He is used to being much bigger than anyone else. Head shots for an 18 year old, just let him watch the game, he might get some mins late in year, but time off is ok right now.

Teams are lacking in cap space they say to take on high priced vets from Habs, but still probably get some deals. Bottom 3 lottery spot maybe, right now Habs sitting at 26 or so out of 32.
