Watched the game. They did look impressive.

Be cool to see the Jets, Canucks and Oil get 3 of the 8 Western spots. Imagine no Canadian teams make the Eastern playoffs?

ok so i decided to actually look up bill nye aka bill aka willie aka willy styles aka will ny the swedish guy (don't you just love all the nicknames that nobody actually uses on h-ref?), and it's a little bit wild that anyone is not pro-nylander, unless maybe they hate the laffs even more than i do. he's been great his entire career (+10% relative corsi/fenwick), and his last 2 seasons have been his best:

119gp, 61g, 141pts
+13% relative corsi/fenwick
if someone can dig up his xg numbers plz do, because i'm sure they're great

the argument against is like ... uhhh, he's a swedish guy borm in calgary (???)

Welp. Lose 4-3. Missed a penalty shot and had a goal disallowed for off sides by the width of a skate blade. ⛸️

Like I mentioned earlier, the defense really missing Heiskanen.

I didn't know much about some guy named Lukas Cormier (D-man) VGK called up just before the game 2nite. But, apparently a short French-Canadian guy with an 80's mullet is an inspiration.
Cuz 2nite was the best effort I've seen from VGK in at least a month.
