I hate to say it, but Rod is getting our coached. We are being demolished on special teams.

Time for him to prove he belongs.

looked like vgk-style defense on that game winning goal, oof

silver lining for cowboy - the last time the stars lost game 1 at home, they won the series.

Special teams is generally an assistant coach type thing.

Losing 2 games after holding leads in OT, not great.

Binking that 4 legger was great though.

Oh wow NYR and COL! Both who I picked.

But am o.k. with Carolina and Dallas winning.

Got Vancouver but o.k. with Edmonton winning too.

This is correct.

Wonder if the Leafs assistant is gonzo for the horrific powerplay.

Bos Tor game 7 came in at 3.2 million viewers on espn which is the highest for a game 7 in NHL history and most watched round 1 game since 2012.

Almost 9 million across all of North America watched.

til the draft lottery happened...

i haven't gotten into this draft at all yet, but afaik yeah celebrini is supposed to be a good prospect, similar to last years #1 pick connor bedard, but maybe a step behind? idk. anyway they'll prob get compared a lot due to their age and both being future canucks from vancouver

He also won the Hobey Baker Award. At 17, he became the youngest player to win the award and the fourth freshman, following Paul Kariya in 1993, Jack Eichel in 2015 and Adam Fantilli in 2023.
pretty good

yeah consensus #1 pick, i guess we'll see how good he is from there. seems like most rate him behind bedard, who is prob a tier behind crosby/mcdavid. have seen ppl compare celebrini to jonathan toews. so yeah as a sharks fan i'd prob be pretty happy. he should be a high producing #1 center for a long time. franchise player

Very much enjoying the Panthers chasing Swayman, hopefully this starts a little goalie controversy, that’d be cute.
