regardless, it looked basically simultaneous, didn't see one view where it was clearly offside
therefore you can't overturn the call on the ice
ez game
(even though i think better cameras would have shown it to be offside)
I'm a Canucks fan and went to a couple games, saw McDavid live. He destroyed us [scored on a chance he created out of nothing] + made everyone around him better. As a CDN it's hard to hate that, and why would I? He's the real deal, I obviously wish we had him. I'm jealous he's not on our team, but hate him, why? Makes no sense. Too many people hate on greatness.. same with way too many Lebron haters. As for McDavid, he just plays hard and whines roughly the same as every other player on the ice..but he actually has skills so he's definitely fun to watch.
Kinda question the Oilers fans themselves though because there were a few fans there that still wouldn't stop yelling about Canucks fans rioting circa 2011.. Not even salty about trashtalk/riot talk at all (I would have laughed if it was legit clever but it wasn't) they litterly said the same thing about 40~60x over throughout the game so zero points on creativity/originality + everyone in their section was just families looking to watch the game so they definitely scored high on the I'm an a**hole / mouthbreather category. But on the flip-side, you see Oilers fans filling up their arena even when they're playing Anaheim and as easy as it is to hate on Alberta they do get into Hockey so you have to respect that. It's hard to hate on any team filling their stadium when they're not even playing. Edmonton has ****ty weather/95% of the city truly is ****. Let them enjoy their (for the first time in over a decade) good team. + No one in Anaheim even gives a **** about Hockey.. I'm all for a Canadian team winning for once.. Gogo Oilers!
