When Montreal was on the power play, there was a turnover, I think when NYR was in control of the puck and looked to be breaking out.
There was a little bit of a 2-on-2 and an obvious play to pass the puck to try for a goal, but the Montreal player held on to the puck so that everyone could get back in position.
It makes sense, you're probably not going to score there and it would have been easy for NYR to clear the puck after the shot.
Is that what is taught, setup first so you can control the puck after the shot?
columbus seems ultra scummy. refs were letting them get away with murder early on which led to them looking pretty decent. soon as penalties started getting correctly called they got left in the dust.
He made this 110 foot pass I would never have believed. 3rd period 1-1, behind his own net with a guy in his grill, and he shoots a 110 foot pass tape to tape with ridiculous velocity. Unreal. So ridiculously chill about it too. Not a single other Bruin tries that pass today.
