Why do we need to know every detail though? I get the desire for transparency, but does it ever occur to anyone that maybe rushing to provide comprehensive diagnoses to Tweet probably ain't best practice, either?

we don't need to know every detail, but given the circumstances they could have like reassured people that he's not dying or something (apparently he's not), rather than falling back to the usual stupid and pointless upper/lower designation

They may also want Burrows' consent before updating the public with his condition.
It may be poor form if they tell the public he had a heart attack/stroke/appendicitis without Burrows giving them the green light.

not sure that's necessary, or relevant in this case given that it's supposedly a non-life threatening injury not requiring surgery that will keep him out of Game 4

don't think there was much in that really

Buff was really dumb to bop him in the head there of course, but i don't see that as a particularly dangerous play really (barring testimony from leading neurologists), and Perry made a meal of it as he's wont to do

wouldn't have cried if Buff got a game for being an idiot, but yeah no hard no foul

It kind of reminded me of the bertuzzi sucker punch. Not in the premeditated sense, bertuzzi chasing Moore down the ice, but in the blindside punch to the back of the head way. Buff is a large man that seemed like a really dangerous punch, but maybe I'm wrong.
