fwiw a similar situation arose in a Euro Hockey Tour game some time ago and the ruling was the penalty still counts, not sure if someone ****ed up or the rule differs here

So if the Jets scored instead of a penalty being called, do both goals count?
Nope, goal wouldn't count.

After 2 nights of NHL playoff hockey, I have concluded that if the playoffs were to end today that Kyle Quincey should win the Conn Smythe.

Pretty sure Corey Perry would

2. Justin Fontaine
3. Matt Dumba

So what happens if the Ducks score, but the refs miss it and play continues.

The Jets get the puck, get a breakaway, player is pulled down.

Penalty shot is awarded.

Review happens, Ducks get a goal.

Do the Jets still get a penalty shot?

If they score, do both teams score at the same exact time on the score sheet?

That's an interesting situation. I'd like to yes they would get a penalty shot. Can't just decide the penalty shot penalty is now just a 2-minute tripping penalty. And yes, they'd have to be same time on scoresheet.

More interesting would be if what if it was the Ducks who got a breakaway and were pulled down. By that logic, they could get 2 goals at the same time.

if penalties inbetween goal and review aren't upheld on the conceding team, I don't think they'd get a penalty shot either

Mark Stone skated for about 6 minutes this morning and is a game-time decision.

On the penalty shot question, from Kerry Fraser:

@kfraserthecall Because only one goal can be scored during a stoppage. Once PIT's goal counted, TOR can't get PS, gets PP instead.

I have a facebook cover photo bet with a friend. Habs vs Sens.
Habs win, I pick his cover photo until Habs eliminated, and vice versa.
Suggestions welcome.

So wait, if the Ducks "score" but the refs miss it:

- The ducks take a penalty 5 seconds later, that penalty is enforced and the Ducks are shorthanded

- The Jets take a penalty 5 seconds later, but that penalty isn't enforced?

Is that what I'm reading? Because then the Jets could murder/rape for 20 seconds with no consequences. That doesn't seem right either.

First penalty is nullified, subsequent penalties enforced. So get one free raping
