MORROW surely would've done better.

But yeah, don't see how the Hawks lose game 6.

Interesting game today, Crawford and Bishop did a few Fleury impressions and only Bishop got burned.

Gotta wonder if maybe other teams try to only have 4-5 legit D too, there are a lot of Cap $ to be saved.

Trying to think what the Bolts could do to win 2 in a row vs dem Hawks. Nothing comes to mind.

Crawful is this generation's Osgood. Curious who the better of the 2 is.

Chicago can now close things out on Monday night in Game 6 with a victory at the United Center, arguably the loudest building in hockey, if not in all of sports.

The Hawks Stanley Cup-clinching wins in both 2010 and 2013 came on the road, so their crazed fans did not have a chance to be on hand to see their hockey heroes raise the Stanley Cup.

They’ll have that opportunity now.

“(Since I’ve been here) we’ve never been in this spot before,” coach Joel Quenneville said. “I’m sure the town will be crazy.

“The buzz will be off the charts.”

Flipping through the history books, the Hawks have not won the NHL title on home ice since 1938, a span of 77 years.

At that time, Franklin D. Roosevelt was the president of the United States, William Lyon Mackenzie King was Canada’s Prime Minister, Hank Greenberg led the majors in home runs with 58 and Mike Karakas was the goalie who led those Hawks to the Cup.

Now, almost eight full decades later, just thinking of how electric the always emotional national anthem will be at the United Center Monday is enough to send shivers up the spine of any player.

“We understand the opportunity that is ahead of us and what it means to our fans,” goalie Corey Crawford said. “But we can’t get ahead of ourselves. There still is a job to do.”

Stamkos is a dead ringer for Jeremy Roenick

Stamkos has coincidentally been irrelevant against Chicago

Just saying

i know nothing about hockey except that our team is very good and they are 1 win away from another Stanley Cup. i'll be in the city late tonight so may head over to Wrigleyville to join the riots and treat this as a practice run for when the Cubs win the World Series in the near future.

go hawks!

Kane with just 1 assist in the series and the Hawks are gonna ship the Cup anyway, hilarious

Keith down to around -125 for the Conn Smythe, pile on

I expect The Boltz to play well and not lay down like the Dux did when facing elimination. Alas, it will not be enough to overcome goals by Capt. Serious, Saad, Kruger and Patty O'Kane.

Who are the two Boltz fans who voted in the poll once the Finals began? L-O-f-ing-L!

He'd be my second choice. It almost has to go to Crawford unless he does something real stupid or they don't win. This has been a goalie series so far. Plus he was robbed in 2013.

yeah Crawful def better than 20 pts in 22gp from the blueline, +15 playing 31:09 per game
playoff best +98 Corsi
(tied for 5th in playoff points, 1 behind Toews & Kane)

some average goaltending def beats that
