After reading this thread, HFBoards, Twitter, and other forums on the internet, Bettman, the NHL, and NBC realize that most people think tonight's game will be rigged for the Rangers. Wanting to gain the fans' trust back, they decide to side with the Lightning. In order to do so, they use the fusion dance from dragonball to combine into a Lightning/Bettman/NHL/NBC hybrid superwarrior.
This giant, 300 foot tall beast, known as "The Anti-Rig," takes the ice and begins destroying the Rangers. It is scoring over and over at will, making a mockery of New York. However,its bloodlust soon overcomes it, and it begins destroying New York city and the surrounding area. Millions of lives are lost and trillions of dollars worth of damages occur a matter of minutes. Militaries from around the world join together to stop the anti-Rig but are defeated easily. With all hope lost, humanity prepares for its extinction.
When suddenly, a finger taps on the shoulder of the anti-rig. When it turns around, it is punched in the face and knocked down. Who is this new hero that stood up to this beast? Who would dare risk his life to save the world?
It's none other than lady liberty, controlled by the Rangers players using that goo from Ghostbusters II. Using many swift combinations and stone cold stunners, the statue of liberty makes quick work of the anti-rig, destroying it and saving the world.
Also, the rangers win the game or something.
