Yes there WAS skill in scoring from there. Toews SAW that Andersen was cheating because he was paying attention to Hossa behind the net. Andersen was reading the play at a top tier NHL goaltender level by anticipating a pass to Hossa behind the net or in the backdoor. Toews READ this play and fired it on net. AMAZING.

The dude is a ****ing legend. Game 7 Hawks vs Canucks 2011. 2014 Olympic QF vs Latvia. The guy just goes above and beyond when he needs to. The greatest leader in hockey since at least Messier, possibly ever.

We've NEVER seen Crosby, Ovechkin, etc do what we've seen Toews do tonight, and multiple times before. Legend.
