When I first came in contact with NHL it was NHL99 by EA sports. I actually started playing the Red Wings the whole time with Fedorov and Yzerman etc..
I was still in school then and we really got trashed in a education study called Pisa at the time. So I started to dream of Canada as my future destination. When I checked nhl results i just started cheering for Montreal believing it was the capital(lol who would have thought it was Ottawa
). Still had no idea of their history and it were the really dark ages for Montreal hockey at the time. I think the first good year was when Theodore played like god for a season.
