Wow, run hotter Blackhawks. That did look like a kicking motion, right, even if it wasn't intentional?

I mean I get that there wasn't a distinct kicking motion but when your momentum is clearly toward the goal and you turn your foot sideways when the puck comes toward your skate, that shouldn't be legal.

I agree. He intentionally guided his skate into the puck since he couldn't get his stick there.

Maybe he didn't kick it, but it seems that goal is violating the spirit of the rule which is basically to allow pucks to go off equipment unintentionally.

I think a lot of it depends on if the players skate leaves the ice. If his skate leaves the ice it is no goal. If it stays on the ice most times it's a good goal. At least that's the way it's been this year.

I wasn't sure he didn't get his stick on it before it went across the line. It looked close (says the Blackhawks fan).

Man, has this happened a lot when the Blackhawks get a big lead, this series? Ever since the 4th goal, the Ducks have got nothing going for them at all and Blackhawks has gotten a lot bounces working in their favors.
