Well we now know how the "FLAMES" (pun intended) voodoo'd their way into the playoffs this year. Geddy obv spammed all their opponents before each game with that pic rendering their vision virtually useless for god knows how long. I'm know mine is still impaired. I'm just hoping I can follow the puck by tomorrow. BTW who goes out in public like that anyway? Must be his European heritage.

Go Wings and all, but...

I suppose I'll be excited when it starts, but it's hard to do right now. As a team they've played like donkey piss for the past 25 games or so, and individually, the weaknesses of certain players just doesn't seem to be surmountable unless miracles occur. And yes, a miracle could occur, as either goalie (I expect Mrazek to last two games before Howard comes back in... and no, that doesn't mean I think Howard's definitely better, as both have mostly sucked for a month or so) could have some godly-lucky games and Pavel could be Pavel, but with the team playing anything like the way they have I think the Wings will be lucky to steal one game.

To think we were just a win or two away from entering the McDavid sweepstakes. And because of the depth of the first 20 spots in this year's draft, the streak ending this year wouldn't have been a bad thing even without the lottery. Now to make it worth it we have to go out and win, and I just don't see how a team that lists Jonathan Ericsson as a first-pair defenseman can do that.

considered 2012>2014, but minus the Kangz' story (I don't like the Kings), Kovalchuk and the Philly-Pittsburgh awesomeness it didnt have much going for it, even though I had the entire time off which lead to some fond memories. Still, large parts of rounds two and three were unwatchable

Hoping the Rangers can do better than their "Win in 7" mentality which has plagued them in early rounds, killing them later in the playoffs.

Rangers aside, I'm really excited for the playoffs this year. Nice to see some of the usual suspects not included and teams like Calgary and Winnipeg making an appearance. Also find it interesting that a number of teams have two-goalie situations where coaches may be quick to replace based on performance.

Anyone know of a book that will let me parlay series winners? Ex: I want to parlay MTL, TB and NYR to win their first round series'. Bet365 accepted these bets in the 2014 playoffs. I was quite surprised to not quickly find this bet available again this year.

Probably bias, but i thought 2014 was a sick playoff year. Obv all the Kangz series were godly, but even outside of those, the series were across the board great, with only 1 or 2 not living up to the bill

2012 easily the worst of that bunch though, since it had a bunch of boring teams advance, and the Kangz just stomping everyone convincingly

Cbc is hands down by far the best place to watch hockey and it sucks to see it being slowly destroyed like this but I have faith that the pre game stuff for Ottawa /Montreal will be epic. Bell centre is always awesome during the playoffs.

Beyak is way better than the HNIC know-nothings, but Edmonds is pure emotion.
