Habs were always losing this trade, just a matter of how badly. If Drouin can keep putting up 55-60 points a year and Sergachev doesn't turn into a Norris trophy winner then it is a minor fleecing. Could obviously be a lot worse if Sergachev turns into a long term top pair guy and Drouin is getting 40 points a year (which is the more likely outcome).

Domi and Tatar having career years are making people forget about how bad Bergy is. Hopefully they will remember when those two guys have their inevitable regression next year and the Habs don't even sniff the playoffs.

CBJer chiming in... I really think that keeping Bob and Panarin, plus the trades for new studs ended up creating a lot of pressure/anxiety from within. After those trades they played super tight for a couple of weeks, not having fun.
