Leivo was healthy scratch most of the previous 2 seasons and he seemingly never whined about it once. This season he had a regular 3rd-4th line spot and played pretty well. He is pretty skilled with an excellent shot (as he showed tonight) and has pretty good hockey sense overall. He's also a big body who's strong along the boards. On the negative side he's not really fast and can be hot and cold. Thanks to the Vancouver Marlies er... Canucks for taking him on and gl luck to him.

Well up to nov 21. Watched every minute of every habs game except bruins. Playing Devils. I like this team. Now I knew nothing about them going in, and my French isn't great, so I don't get all the background info from announcers.

My impressions. We are small but scrappy. A good, tight team. Guys like Gallagher and Domi. Only Jonathan Drouin stands out as something of a freak the way he moves out there and decent size. Price regularly makes great saves. Tatar went on a bit of a scoring run. Petry, Shaw play for the team and seem good at hockey. Benn isn't great but has a Clint Eastwood aura.

Every game comes down to the wire. I know Weber is the captain and 33 year old all-star who is back now. We need a big guy like that. Fit well like Chara did in Julien's system or something like that I'm sort of guessing here. I remember the dude Subban for Montreal who they traded to get Weber. That guy was super impressive, so if Weber is his equal, well good.

I guess it's part of the job but when I get up at like 7 am and scroll through my Twitter (first things first obv) I'm always surprised/impressed by how much hockey these writers/bloggers/NERDS consume. Like I get it for team specific ones but tonight every mainstream guy seemed to watch Hawks vs Vegas. Why would anyone watch that?
