I'd like to see what "luck" entails (though I can't be arsed to research it), I wouldn't think it's just PDO because Hohl (even though his name means stupid in german) surely isn't dumb enough to put goaltending, shot quality and finishing as categories of their own and then base the luck portion soley on a stat that made up of said categories. I'd guess there's some regressed version of PDO in there (I.e. the leafs create better chances than average and Matthews is a good shooter, but he still won't keep shooting 50%). Also, since this is about points in the standings and not single game outcomes, actual record vs pythagorean record has to play a role.

watching the panthers-jets game (my fun watching random NHL games is back! Just when my workinh hours don't allow it...) got me thinking... what are the funnest PPs to watch in the league? Jets gotta be up there. Haven't seen a Leafs game but they should be pretty exciting. Bruins are my homer pick with Marchand, Pasta and Bergeron as the bumper, especially now that Krug is back. Anyone else?

They still have the most top end talent and cover all bases on the PP. With Crosby digging out the puck Malkin passing it and Kessel shooting it defending becomes a nightmare. Also Letang has always been elite or near it on the PP.

Tampa when on and healthy in the conversation too.

Ugh, not going to either panthers-jets games, kinda weak. But tickets were expensive and at time thought it´s too much, shoulda still tried to buy. Now they were 450$ and up so not biting at that.
