They rely on Lundqvist way too much. He can recapture the magic for a playoff series or two, or for a couple of weeks at a time, but the reality is that he will now be a league-average quality starter for long stretches. Those stretches will be losing streaks for the Rangers unless they improve defensively.

Rumors in Edmonton that Draisaitl's concussion & eye injury are not game related - either a bar fight or a fight with Nurse seem to be the two most common theories. It's going to get real bad in Oilerville real soon if this doesn't get turned.

Trouba's elbow didn't look like it connected well. It looks like he's throwing him.

I just don't see where he gets an elbow in the eye, it doesn't seem possible.

Need a frame by frame breakdown.

Could have easily damaged his orbital with a hit from the side like that. Looks like he might have got the shoulder cap right against the helmet. The down ice shot shows there was quite an impact. Still like the Nurse story way more.
