There was the time that Bullets team murdered everyone in the NBA and stole the trophy.

But I don't think that counts.

2011 Washington Kastles.

I guess i should let Rangers fans have their fun, it would be kinda cruel to eliminate their sorry team 3 years in a row. It did require a superstar lundqvist, and an epic late game luckbox to take a dale hunter coached team to 7 games, but still. Thumbs up bros!

why are we talking about the caps? oh right, the rangers have been outplayed in every game so far and aren't looking so hot in this series.

brooks trying to get kovalchuk suspended, that's some good gamesmanship on the rangers' part. callahan might've broken a rib weeks ago when he blocked a shot. and it's not like kovalchuk skating on one leg is really a huge asset to NJ right now.

such polarized views here. most likely outcome is a) rangers win game 5 at home, b) devils win game 6 at home, and we have a game 7 in ny with the rangers hopefully advancing.

i'd much prefer rangers win game 5 and 6 but we can't seem to pull a string of victories together late in a series and have been doing it 1 at a time.

i will say last night was an absolute debacle and IF the rangers play like that the rest of the time, they have no shot. but thankfully they showed pressure/life in the 2nd and 3rd so it'll still be a very close series.

but wow would a win last night and a cushion have been nice.

dcifr: the rangers have played like this in the entire series. maybe they didn't in game 1? i'm willing to say the rangers played that game to even. but why would you expect a change? some of these guys are just gassed.

I think this is the main problem for the Rangs, they are ****ing exhausted after two grueling series, and the Devils forecheck just wont quit. this is probably true for both teams, but if the Rangers advance, they have no chance against a well rested, eater of worlds Kings team.

they will always have a chance when they have lundqvist. but yeah right now they are just getting crushed, and this is the team. they don't seem to have anyone they can stick in the lineup.

the thing w/ john scott is his versatility - can lace em up on defense or at forward, that was one heckuva acquisition by slats
