People on twitter seem to think it was clean because he still has a foot on the ice. Never mind it was borderline late, looked like charging, and you can clearly see his knees bend and launch towards Hossa's head, which seems to be the principal point of contact on a few angles.

I mean come on, you can pick out anything you want about that hit and tell it was predatory. Good thing Torres doesn't have a history of borderline hits though!

The last time a star player was stretchered off in the playoffs due to a late, dirty, concussion giving hit, it was Aaron Rome on Nathan Horton.

That worked out really well for Vancouver, didn't it
