I assume they don't get JT so they will most likely chase JVR and massively overpay..

Man, watching Dorion **** up this Karlsson trade in the next two days is going to be something. There isn't a single top-4 D man on the market and yet somehow the pundits are speculating that Ottawa will get below market value for the King. Collin Miller is supposed to be the big piece coming back from Vegas! WoW aren't we lucky

Seems like a lot of money for 10 points and grit/toughness.

I’m hearing once JT goes the price is gonna get wild for Ryan O’Reilly and Buffalo will be able to get great return if Botterill isn’t a moron. Should be interesting.

Sabres pick up O’Reilly’s bonus...so maybe he doesn’t get moved.

Must mean Simmonds is getting dealt. One of my favorite flyers, but his game doesn't seem like it's going to age all that well

Boston has traditionally been so welcoming and supportive to African American hockey players, it's hard to see a real downside

Armia is very good, fast, strong, nice puck handling, could play 2nd line, Mason would be a solid backup if he were ever healthy.

It only makes sense if they are clearing cap space, which I didn't think they needed to do for this year, so maybe they are hitting the internal budget or they spent too much on last year's run, or they are going on a buying spree.

They've got a hole with Enstrom leaving, how is this Bourque? Just some body who hasn't played in the NHL.

And Mason is going to waivers.

Well, that's a very good trade for Montreal, then.

The Jets traded Chase De Leo, he was supposed to be what Ehlers is. Maybe the Ducks can make that happen. I remember he was unhappy.

Maybe I'm confusing him and Petan?

Couture gets 8/64mil as well as a center who averes around 60. Insanity imo.

Bruins getting Halak and Wagner (both former Islanders) is a nice lil Sweeney move. Keep adding to your Tavares equity.

Anyone think that if he was going to do Toronto, he already would have by now? I think San Jose and Boston are legit in his mind right now. Starting to think SJ is gonna get him though.

Two years for Halak seems fine, but no news on AAV yet so I'll reserve judgement. Doubt it makes any difference wrt Tavares, my read is SJ ad well.

Nucks keep adding CHARACTER

The last time the Habs had a center score 60pts was Plekanec in 2014-15. David Desharnais and Scott Gomez (59 pts) are the others. You should be dry humping poutine if your dumbass GM fell face first into a decorative plant and signed a 60pt center for 8milly a year.

Also it is time to nuke western canada from orbit.

Benning signs Jay Beagle to a 4 year deal with a 3 million cap hit and Antoine Roussel to a 4 year deal with a 3.25 million cap hit.

Treliving signs Derek Ryan to a 3 year deal with a 3.125 million cap hit.

Chiarelli is still Chiarelli

I think he got Schaller too.

Can't corner the market on 4th liners if you sign so many they start playing on your third line.

Well, 8M is only 10% of the cap. Wait, Couture is 29?

JMFJ to the Pens, 5/16.25. LOLs all over the league.
