Appropriate suspension here for a guy with Wilson's history would be at least 20 games so NHL will give him 8, mayyyyyybe 10 if they are trying to (lol) "send a message". It is so unbearable listening to the NHL brass spout off about how they are cracking down on this blah blah blah, won't tolerate it blah blah blah and then hand out some pathetically low suspension.

Dude got a three game suspension in the Playoffs (so equal to ~10 regular season games) and then lasted all of 15 games until he throws another suspendable hit in the ****ing preseason. They should finally throw the book on this guy like they did with Raffi Torres a few years back.

What I can't wait is for the league to try a long suspension, and immediately have the NHLPA appeal it, while the NHLPA simultaneously launches a lawsuit that says the league isn't protecting players against headshots.

Until the PA gets on board with a cheapshot solution (which you would think they should be), the NHL's hands will be tied.

I made the mistake of going through some comments on facebook. Holy hell I think MB might have more credit left than I thought. So many dumb people out there and still so many who think it was the right thing to deal PK.

I believe that deal was at least partially racially motivated, and that there are plenty of people in the Montreal brass and fan base that are happy about that deal no matter what because they traded away a black guy and got a white guy instead.

If there's no fans of the defending champs around, some fan of the future champs should do it, but I'm too out of the loop and I'm not sure I wanna see what a prizm OP looks like.

Not sure it's even worth it to make a thread this year. Everyone knows that Tampa Bay is beating Vegas in the finals this year, so there isn't a lot to discuss.
