i got a question, i'm pretty sure this player is able to be drafted but wanna double check, everyone prob knows who i'm talkin about anyway

this player played his first year of hockey in 78-79 for the WHA and his rookie year in the NHL qualifies him as it was in 79-80, he can be drafted correct?

I assumed 79/80 was made the cutoff just for him.

***WE HAVE A TRADE TO ANNOUNCE***

Team Etats and Team SD have come to an agreement.

Teams Etats is sending:
1st Round Pick (2nd Overall) + 2nd Round pick + 7th Round Pick

In exchange for Team SD's:

well, if youre double thinking the trade now because of that factor...youre doing it wrong imo.

More people also means that the 2nd overall pick has to wait longer to get the 2nd round pick. Its all relative.

And if youre still double thinking it, I will give you 15 minutes to post a reply here to undo this trade entirely. But for that, you must give me your 7th rounder for my 8th rounder as compensation.

and yes, Im serious.

haha it's okay, it was my fault for not taking that into account.

Yeah but the dropoff in the 2nd Rd between our picks might not be enough to justify the dropoff between pick #2 and #12. I had specific players/positions in mind when I made that trade. Oh well. Congrats on getting who I would have drafted at #2.

It's clear who Gamblor (or any other rational owner) is picking. We should skip his pick and move on to #2 with the assumption that the obvious pick is made.

+1 especially since he already logged in and disapeared without making a pick, that is very gay especially with such an obvious #1 choice

Im crossing my fingers in hopes that he decides that the consensus #1 overall player will decide to hold out and not play for Team Gamblor all together and will opt for the more talented but less recognizable consensus #2 overall player.

How about we just skip to #3 since obviously gamblor is going to take one of gretzky or lemieux and shark is gonna take the other.
