Alright, **** it. Can't do a writeup right now, but I will get one done at some point. This might be a bit off the board or a bit of a homer pick, but this guy's one of my favourite players in the league right now, and he's the kind of two-way presence I'd love to build around. Focusing on playing down the wing, where he's most lethal, is going to allow him to really blossom into the superstar I know he's primed to become.
Without further adieu, one of the best young power forwards in the game today...
Ideally, he'll be playing LW for me, but he can take on minutes down the middle as well, if required.
Gulutzan deployed him in just about every situation in 2011-12 and he really became the go-to man for that Stars team, in the wake of [undrafted]'s departure via UFA. I know this year was a struggle for him, but he's a very complete player nonetheless, and I think he'll benefit from playing with some legit elite talent for once.
If I'm drafting in Nookta's/Grind's spot, there's literally no way I let undrafted past me. Would consider trading to that spot just to be able to make the pick myself.
if you'd like to waste some time, start clicking through hockey-ref in the summer of '88, and try to come up with some 10 yr dynasty draft board for that.
I'm with BillNye/BradysBunch and we're pretty much ready assuming our top picks don't get sniped so heads up to DocDOS/leebert, they might be up sooner than expected
The dropoff from Rask to another goalie who is available in round 6 is tiny compared to the dropoff from a centre available now to round 6
plus you'll have to trade him to Philly once he asks for 10 mill/yr
I think the drop-off is actually fairly large considering Rask is a top 3 goalie and is only 26. The value is fairly good at this point and I would have snap called if he fell to me.
