They had less than 9000 people in the barn for their home opener. Not sure if there's any protocols in place but I suppose at some point of the patheticness scale, even Buffalo will tune you out. Can Leaf fans cross the border for their games there?

His contract expires at the end of this season, Jeff Molson seemed to have little interest in extending him.

His bizarre off season, particularly the draft debacle, destroyed the cachet of the playoff run, at least imo.

Can't tell you how much I want to see this. Salt from the other teams/fans would be more entertaining than anything else that could happen this season.
