So I took in the Oilers/Blackhawks game Saturday Night. First game in the New Arena and probably 20 years.
Rogers Place was unbelievable.
30 minutes to get in as they were checking vax status
$12.50 for a beer and man the seats were tight

Great first period and Skinner looked great in goal. Just looked in control not fighting the puck

Man Calgary and Edmonton may be in a fight this year. MY buddy told me Calgary has had 6 or 7 shutouts already Yikes

calgary is legit not sure if it was shared here or not but their standard line 1 in 5v5 has scored 12 goals and hasn't allowed a single one all year

they'll be a really sneaky team in the playoffs when the teams start giving fewer minutes to the bottom 6 (unless it's vancouver of course in which Jay Beagle wins a conn smythe)

I found an easy winner and found a loser (and another easy winner) to pair it with to guarantee a loss. Not sure what I’m going to do moving forward, but I will keep everyone abreast.

Listened to a podcast that said the Bruins were being ruined by shoddy goaltending, amongst other things, which means perhaps Priz was wrong about Tukka, what say you Priz?

yeah i was surprised to see them as 70% favs earlier, but turns out the pens have been elite in everything but shooting, which is a horrible matchup for the canucks

At least the Canucks made it out of the 1st period before finally punting that game. The LOLhabs were done 10 minutes in.

Leafs 70% favs on the road.

Although watching the Panthers / Flyers game was a bit of a WTF. 4 posts for Florida throughout the game, tons of good scoring chances. Add in the madness of Goalie Bob flopping around like he was lolFleury.
