Toronto got away with murder over 2 games, they chose not to call them. I understand there's a mandate for Toronto to stay in games but yeah, the refs can put away the whistles in other games too.

Reading let alone replying to someone who clearly knows nothing about hockey and is nothing but a blind homer on repeat is quite the leak. Anyone who knows anything about hockey knows that every single one of those penalties today were 100% deserved. Kings/LVK refs didnt' call much of anything. It favored the Kings but made a lot of the games unwatchable without a rooting interest.

They're not pretty goals and there'd been a bunch of chances to score clean ones. It's not like Bäckström had any idea where that was going. Sure hand/eye and all that, he prob gets his stick on the puck there some percentage of the time more than a random scrub, but it ain't picking your spot and beating the goalie.
