Canadiens: traded Beaulieu & Sergachev for Drouin & Schlemko, signed a bunch of scrubs, and LolWard heaped praise on them for paying Alzner while waiving goodbye to Radulov & Markov. why? because something something Alex Semin. Lol! C+

Senators: botched the expansion draft, signed Mike Condon as a backup, signed Nate Thompson as a bad 4C, signed a bunch of scrubs, said goodbye to Daniel Alfredsson. D-

they were the 2nd or 3rd worst team in the league before losing those 5 players, and these 5 signings obviously won't change much. it's just 5 relatively short & cheap stopgap signings that they can maybe flip for something in 1-2.5 years, that's all. real complicated.
