Drouin trade good imo.
Beaulieu trade doesn't look good on paper but would've got nothing for him when Vegas took him.

Here we lose Hudon, DLR or Davidson. Possible there's a deal in place for Vegas to take Pleks or Emelin which would be ideal.

Does it even make sense to take an UFA like Jagr? I mean he could be a nice crowd magnet for the start but you cant be certain he signs with you.

Wow so after that playoff Ottawa still leaves Ryan out there (guess that's not so surprising but he did look way better). I guess it's gonna be Ryan or Methot there.

First glance looks like Vegas will have nice G, D, reliable PK. Forwards are gonna be where they'll need to draft help. But man head and shoulders better than expansion teams of years past.

Yeah, the deals with VEGAS are secret deals. The ones between other teams had to already be announced. But anyone can have a deal in place with Vegas to provide something in order to get Vegas to not select a player for example.

It does in fact appear that most GM's preferred to make the deal with Vegas rather than make it with another team. Makes sense if you start with the assumption that Vegas will be the weakest team. If you've got to give up something, give it up to them.
