How much do people here pay for NHL Center Ice TV? I went to my provider and it says it's $52/month, which seems quite high. Talking around a few people said they paid around $180 for the whole season last year...

That is something I haven't thought about.

What is it like watching a hockey game in regular definition these days? Are the cameras just chopped from HD? Are the angles optimized for HD and reg. def. gets the hand-me-downs? Are there two editors in the truck?

Negative value contract != below average player

Non-desirable contract != below average player

He had 6 shutouts last season and 37 wins in 71 starts. He's no longer the Vezina-calibre goaltender he once was (even though he's only a season removed from a 2.31/.920 season), but you always make him out to be a step away from leprosy whenever you post about him here.

24/7 is HBO tho right? I don't get that. But let's face it, if not Phi/NY it would have been some combo of Det/Chi/Pit/Bos/Was so whatever, I guess it's fine.

my memory is foggy but was there even an interesting story last offseason? the biggest I can remember was that cabbie lying about my boy P Kane. The string of bad news recently has been unreal.
