He basically just finished his check. From the angles they showed, doesn't look like he got his elbow up that much. By the time Iginla was going at him the refs were there already.

I'm starting to think Brent is more than slightly responsible for Iginla's play because of whatever the **** this "system" is...puck goes out wide to Iginla on the right wing, no one links up with him, he gets no support and he's on an island trying to gain the zone himself. There's no goddamn creativity in this lineup, at all.

Calgary would seriously benefit from a Gomez-type center who's main responsibility is gaining the offensive zone with speed through the neutral zone and then distributing from there. Iginla can't be the guy to carry the puck in himself.

Just got back from the game. Crosby is a little girl picking a fight with our worst player. Like I said in my opening post ITT, Niskanen is terrible and I hate him but he is probably one of our weakest players. LOL Crosby
