Let me just suggest that it takes major balls for capitals to hold a russian heritage night in dc right now, and for ovi to wear warm up skates featuring a russian flag as well as the capitol.

The result of this was exceptional (and gross) but that kind of slash happens literally dozens of times per game. Bad luck for Methot but it doesn't indicate Crosby being a dirty player or if it does then every player on the ice is equally dirty.

Not only is Buffalo giving us a shellacking but Anderson is out with an UBI. Our 87% to make the playoffs just fell to <65%. Never easy.

Is this Red Wings game really the one that Boudreau wants to give the Wild a moral victory for? That game was entirely winnable. I think he just felt like they needed a confirm fence boost before the Caps game tomorrow. Which is concerning in and of itself.
