lol so true. Don't take this personally Gamblor or Geddy, but I blame Canada.

After missing the team bus before a game in Quebec City and getting yelled at in practice, Sergei was sitting on 2 strikes. Hopefully a little goal will help his cause.

Kind of a funny goal, both those guys looking to rebound from an off year. Any guys you don't see making it in Montreal because of the pressure? Will Price?

I saw him in Phoenix last reading week. He is the most incomprehensible talent I've ever seen.

One shift, he dominates. The next three, he could care less. I feel bad for Bryan Little...those two could do some incredible stuff together.

When Kovalchuk's not wearing the Russian national team jersey, I'll take Toews over him in a heartbeat.

So who's going to give Ilya $80m/10 years next summer? And who's going to trade a King's ransom for him at the deadline?

I think he could score 50 if he played on a real team.

edit: I mean he could score 50 every year

Dallas 12:51, James Neal 1 (Stephane Robidas, Loui Eriksson)
Dallas 15:47, Loui Eriksson 1 (power play) (James Neal, Brad Richards)

St. Louis from Tanguay & Lecavalier

Great pass from Tanguay, amazing one-timer from St. Louis. Try to catch the replay on this one, not really in a posisiton to shoot, but he turns and fires top corner short-side, before you can blink. Marty is the man!

On a real team, I see Kovalchuk hitting 100 point plateau every year.

Kovalchuk should be top 3 in goals and points every season. IMO, he has the best hands in the league. Period. He just doesn't give a ****. That's the impression I had before I saw him...and then watching the man in the flesh only reaffirmed my stance. But omg, the ~4 shifts he played that night when he tried...wow. Not like wow, but WOW.
