McDaniels may have almost as much damage as a GM in a third of the time it took Millen. Another year or two and who knows.

or is it just the fact that he can't beat out the slapdick known as fitzpatrick... (I'm blaming it on the short offseason and Thigpen is starting week 6).
What is your beef with Fitzpatrick about? Dude has just kept his head down and worked his ass off since he got into the league, gradually getting better to the point where he performed decently on a dreadful team last year. Seems to have The Big Heart. Would have thought you would be on board tbh.

Actually I think the opposite, Belichick would prefer his assistants to be good HCs, because he parts his style to them. When McDaniels told BB he wanted to be a HC someday, BB met with him regularly and gave him a manual of his coaching principles.

He must have taken something with him to Denver because Dan Gronkowski says the Pats' current offensive playbook is basically the same as Denver's last year.

I honestly don't think I make it through this season without fighting someone here in Denver. Not only are we awful but I have to put up with this garbage.

I just can't handle it.
he understands the power of Sanchize

Yeah, and the 99-yard TD was all Brady

Despite Kolb being flustered??? He evaded an all-out blitz and found an open receiver. Like good QBs do.

Oh and Fitz had 3 catches. But I guess every amazing catch he makes won't count towards Kolb's rating.

Hate more, bro.

As a Steeler fan it's hard to know what to think. This is basically the same team that took down the AFC last year, fully healthy, but they looked like 5 years older.

Keisel and a healthy Aaron Smith were both routinely blown off the LOS and that was the one thing you never saw during the last decade, Lebeau could always do whatever scheming with the back 8 and trust the front 3 weren't getting moved by anyone.

I want to say fluke and they'll bounce back next week and crush the Seahawks, but when age catches up it can catch up quick and it could happen to a lot of guys on that D at the same time.

Also fun fact of the morning, the last time Seattle played in Pittsburgh for their home opener they beat the Steelers putting up 29 points without scoring an offensive touchdown. Not likely to happen again but not out of the question for Leon Washington and company.

Yeah, I think so. The Lions are a pretty solid team. Falcons and Steelers are both better than they looked Sunday, but they've got to prove it.

Now that Cutler has gone through a few cycles of thesis, antithesis, synthesis we need a new QB to divide the forum and inspire debate. Unfortunately at this point no one who knows anything about football is going to say anything other than an optimistic wait and see with regard to Cam so Kolb is as good a player as any.

Clark, please explain to all of us why you have the Bills as a WC coming out of the AFC East while the Jets sit home. That's a huge WTF.

Tebow Zone now officially rooting against Broncos (to hasten the second coming of TEBOW TEBOW TEBOW).

http://www.tebowzone.com/

Quote:
From what I saw, Kyle Orton didn’t look good. Sure he threw for 300+ yards, but it was all dink and dunk. He also had an interception and a costly fumble. I don’t care what the national media says, Tim Tebow can not be worse than Kyle Orton. I hope the Broncos leave Orton in there for another week and he sucks it up again and then they’re 0-2. I want Broncos fans to really start killing the front office for the circus they created this offseason.

The Broncos get Cincy and Tennessee in their next two games. If they don’t win those with Orton it will have to be TEBOW TIME!
