I don't know why you respond to me anyway. I don't bet sports and every post of yours is an allusion to your sports betting prowess, or some elaborate scheme to get someone to take what you think is a sucker bet. I don't know why you respond with animosity about how you make money with this playoff-prediction thing. And now you even throw in a "IRL you wouldn't talk to me like this". Just wow.

It's just weird how you badger Clark about his outrageous claim then have some personal catharsis and moments later basically ask me why the "7th best team in the AFC" can't get to the playoffs. I already stated why I don't think they can. Obviously anything is possible but I really don't see it.

Eh, did you see the game? There were sooooooooooo many cramps on both teams (esp Tampa of all things). Weather must've been brutal, or each team was very underprepared.

Doesn't really change the laughable part of it.

Yeah, I'd expect Stafford to be in ultraleet shape after the last two seasons so I see your point.

Laughable not being truly a negative towards Stafford. Its laughable as in it just always seems to be something. It's unfortunate, and yeah the cramp is likely a non-factor(well...not likely, it is a non-factor period). It's just kind of deflating to continue seeing him limp off a field.

Honestly, the guy does seem to have some solid talent. Though in this era playing the QB era only takes someone that is mildly competent it seems. ****ing Chad slapdick Henne somehow passed for a ton of yards on Monday.

God I hate the direction the NFL is going in.

Keep in mind that ~180 of his passing yards came on their last 3 drives of the game, so it's somewhat misleading.

And when he actually needed to make a throw, he failboated.

Nice fades to guys not named Marshall.

I am on a personal mission to get the fade out of football period outside of for 1 or 2 specific players.

As a Raiders fan I'm shocked. Our lines look good and we may have a legit shot at winning >50% of games.

Teams incorporating a fade is the NFL equivalent of the Closer in MLB.

"Megatron can catch a fade? Plax can catch a fade? Fitz? AJ? Well, in that case... how tall is our tallest receiver?"

"six-one"

"So he'll be our 'fade' guy"

"But he's white and doesn't jump well"

"So, we NEED A FADE for those 3 crucial snaps from 1st and goal from the one! Get it done!"

Throwing the fade is the ultimate showing that the NFL is full of sandy vaginas.

I like the Raiders as a surprise wildcard team a lot more than the Bills. Well, if they can stop giving up 5 first downs a game from unsportsmanlike penalties. Should've won that game easier. Like to see them play a non-terrible team (Broncos look like the 2nd worst team to me or thereabout).

The Lions actually don't throw enough fades I think but we have a unique situation. 1st & goal from the 4 should be 4 fades to Megatron, seems like a guaranteed touchdown.

just watched nfl replay of cards/panthers, and wow...newton kind of blew me away. his downfield passing was really impressive, hitting some tight windows and overall solid accuracy on throws 15+ yards. i guess what struck me the most was how rarely he decided to tuck it down and run and instead made multiple throws right in the face of pressure. now the cardinals dont have a great pass rush and the panthers have a pretty solid OL, so it was a fairly good matchup for him. but the cardinals blitzed alot and he was routinely getting 15 yard chunks all game. on their final drive he had a near tying TD dropped, one that was very close to having illegal contact, and another that was caught just barely out of bounds.

the only thing that i thought could have been better was his short passing, so teams with better pass rushing will probably show us more of his weaknesses. still, there was absolutely a lot to LOVE for a 22 year old starting his 1st NFL game with no OTA's

also gotta say kolb looked pretty good too, especially throwing to fitzgerald hitting him in stride multiple times

+1 to this.

I like that Stafford seemed to use the "**** it, i'm throwing it deep to 81" approach a few times on Sunday
