Rugby is completely ****ed here with the TV deal expiring, the bids moving forward are 40% less what they were previously when every other sport rights have increased - in some case doubled (cricket/AFL)

Ok, he was bad this year. The point was more that the chargers aren't going anywhere and need to move on from asap. Teddy wouldn't be a bad place to start

Yes but not in my area of Australia. My side plays Aussie Rules football.

Union dying has a few reasons but the lack of exposure and non kids programs didnt help. But thats neither here nor there.

It’s the most popular winter sport in two eastern States and peripheral in the others where Aussie Rules dominates (and it’s growing in the other two). I played union but much prefer watching League

Ah ok point taken. I knew union was dying but I always thought so much travel in a league already struggling was the disaster but maybe that was just the sunwolves.

Eric Weddle retires

5 x All Pro, 6 Pro Bowls...not sure he'll make it because he was stuck in San Diego and never got the media coverage he deserved, but he was a helluva good player so has a sneaky HoF chance
