Rams right now.

Okay Dream Team in Philly but that's because the studs they signed didn't fit what their team was trying to do so that ended up being silly as hell.
I think the Rams qualify - but that means their going to have a short window most likely. Also means they could be screwed if the wrong guy gets hurt (to be fair most teams aren't really built to survive big injuries).

The Seahawks were more like that bc they had lots of good players on rookie/cheap deals at the same time. They obviously weren't able to keep that group together for very long.

It’s become kind of a joke but I feel like people (me included) sort of overlooked the fact that the chargers basically have zero actual home games this year? Every home game seems like a neutral site at best. A couple points in lost HFA 8x has to be pretty massive by the end of the season. I mean if basically no non qbs move the point spread more than like 1.5 points or whatever then they are essentially losing out on like a star non qb right? I know HFA isn’t entirely attributed to just fans but still. Maybe I’m underestimating the amount of chargers fans

you are not, no one goes to the games and no one drives up from San Diego

teams that travel well will have HFA

HFA is irrelevant these days anyway.

A couple guys got career ending and some others season ending injuries then the seahawks decided to blow it up. They definitely weren't in financial straits to have to do it.

does anyone else like the vikings this week as a pick'em?

there's a non-zero chance(maybe like 5%) that rodgers doesn't play and his injury is much worse than reported and he was just going off adrenaline last week.

even assuming he does play his mobility will be limited which is a death sentence considering how bad the packer's offensive line is.

Bills cut Jeremy Kerly 8 days after his $960,000 salary is fully guaranteed.

Bills are a Marshall Newhouse cut away from the NFLs All-Time Dead Money hit in one season.

Come on Beane..........................go for it!

Thats gotta be it for Kerley right...i mean if Dez still can't get a job no way should Kerley get another shot.

At least he admits it I guess.

“The percentages say you should go for it almost every time,” Koetter said. “We’ve studied the analytics on it and the problem with looking at it like that – those are all looking at all fourth downs over the course of the season. You might get three in a row, but if I don’t get it in this particular game, we might be losing, and I might be out of here."

there are probably other players that have wasted a ton of potential but Josh may have wasted the most $$$ that i can think especially considering how good he was for 1 season.

What the ****?

Not even a trade or anything?

This doesn't make any sense at all. (I know....Browns.....but still)

it makes perfect sense. They think they are forging a new culture, trying to maintain an atmosphere of stability.

They bent over backwards for this damaged mother****er. Gtfo

they've had to babysit this clown for 6 years.

But he had to have been worth something to another team.

It makes perfect sense, they've been covering up and eating bad behaviour and "setbacks" in his recovery and he finally exhausted their patience. He's probably a complete basket case and impossible to work with.

When it comes out what they've been accommodating the past few months my guess is it will be pretty clear that he has no value.

Browns will get a 7th from someone who can't sign him in FA. (since he's too old for waivers)

Still after the browns were that patient with the guy and they cut him because he hurt his hamstring in some promotion thing instead of a game? I realize it's a cumulative thing but that was the final straw? alright then

Interesting how the one org that has leakers everywhere actually was tightlipped about whatever was going on with josh gordon.

The Browns did this last year with McCourty, told everyone they were releasing him then dealt him to new england in a pick swap (6th for 7th).
