I'd like to see a follow up on how many of them still get signed or otherwise get paid a little at some point.

And a follow up follow up on how many players don't come out, get injured their senior, and never get paid a dime.

Take it from someone who inspected utilities and went through thousands of backyards, pit bulls are a reflection of their owners and are often quite friendly, even on their own turf.

Schnauzers and beagles, OTOH, should all be shipped to Korea.

in just two seasons the NFL has gone from what is a catch to what is a tackle to what is a penalty

People will always find something to complain about. Often with justification.

That’s why teams should have one absolute challenge in last two minutes of a playoff game to challenge anything they like.

Watching last night’s game...can’t believe the Haslams wouldn’t have given McDaniels ‘a Gruden’ to HC the Browns

well sounds like at least PI will probably be reviewable next year

https://www.washingtonpost.com/sport...=.0de68860c907

if it's allowed, coaches would really need not to waste challenges in case they need them for the PI calls/no calls

PI is a good one because it can't happen away from the ball - at least DPI.

Roughing the passer would also be good here imo - at least in terms of did the player make contact with the helmet or something.

What you don't want is some team of coaches up in the booth scouring the all-22 for a penalty on any big play that goes against them.

If they can only do it once, and then only in playoff games in the last two minutes, where’s the harm?

The standard will still be indisputable evidence, so if they have to scour then they’ve already lost.

In this history of rigged sporting events has there ever been a bigger outpouring of cry babies than these saints fans/players/owners. Wasn't even the most rigged game from yesterday.

I would say it’s up there with one of the worst calls of all time given the stakes so I think they are pretty justified

You can always play the “refs missed Goff facemask” game or whatever like you can in any game but they are near locks to win if the refs make the obvious call. I would be pretty red and mad online myself

Anything keeping Belichick from paying this guy whatever he wants to come to the Superbowl? He is a massive tactical counter to McVay/Goff pre-snap communication. If this guy really is the whistle and it's not pumped in he needs to be working more than just Saints home games. A top 500 asset in the NFL and hes sitting on his couch half the season?

The difference is the Patriots overcame the refs rigging the game for the Chiefs.

Given the stakes, the time of the game, the swing in win percentage, and the obviousness of the correct call, it is the single worst referee decision I have witnessed in my life. That is not hyperbole. If I were a Saints fan - and keep in mind I hate them because they are reaping the decade of rewards that the Dolphins should have gotten if Saban and the front office weren't morons - I would legitimately stop watching football.

Just because you're mad that Gregg Williams is a scumbag and gave bounties to hurt your QB in the NFC title game a decade ago does not mean that the Saints fans, players, and owners are out of line being furious. The receiver was literally tackled. They are in the super bowl if the referees are anything resembling competent.

Your insistence that Edelman's replay and the roughing on Brady are even in the same ballpark as the missed one on the Rams is not a good look.

Saints made enough bad decisions and bad plays to be legitimately criticised and that horrible decision bailed Payton out.

Albeit, if I were a Saints homer I could also rightly feel that we’d had two consecutive years of the most brutal ****ing playoff eliminations
