"Yes, Carson Wentz is the quarterback going forward," coach Doug Pederson said at a joint news conference with executive vice president of football operations Howie Roseman on Tuesday. "And in Nick's case, listen, we'd love to have everybody back throughout the roster, but as I've said many, many times, it's not about one guy, it's about the team, and we're going to do what's best for the team."

Dear Madam Bündchen,--

I have been shown in the files of the War Department a statement of the Adjutant General of Massachusetts that you are the wife of ill-gotten five-rangz who has died disgracefully on the field of battle.

I feel how weak and fruitless must be any word of mine which should attempt to beguile you from the grief of an embarrassment so overwhelming. But I cannot refrain from tendering you the consolation that may be found in another AFC Eastern Division Championship.

I pray that our Heavenly Father may assuage the anguish of your bereavement, and leave you only the cherished memory of the loved and lost, and the solemn pride that must be yours to have laid so costly a sacrifice upon the altar of Mahomes.

Yours, very sincerely and respectfully,

A. Walter Reid

The timing of the NFC and AFC title game alternates every year, for CBS/FOX reasons.

Plus, its going to be freezing cold all day anyway, an extra few hours one way or another wouldn't make a huge difference.

Luck was an absolute disgrace on Saturday. They aren't winning a super bowl, when he is prone to the inexplicably awful performance vrs a league-worst D. ( four 3-and-outs to start the game. 12 yards gained in the first 28 minutes played. 0 for 9 on 3rd down. That wouldn't be believable non fiction)

lol those passes repeatedly being batted down, nothing more infuriating, especially with his soft moonball delivery of late

Thoughts on Panthers owner suggesting they sit Cam for 2019? Makes sense if they want to tank but they probably wouldn't draft a QB so tanking seems somewhat pointless imo

And Reich opting to punt 4 consecutive times to start the game, while KC looked likely to score TDs with ease on every possession, was pathetic.

Sean Payton could see his team was in big trouble and went for it on 4th down in his own territory in the 1st half, Reich was oblivious and didn't accordingly act in an almost identical situation.

The only difference was the Saints D being realistically capable of getting a stop or two, while that potentiality was far-fetched for Indy.

Not that there's a way to bet on it, but I'll take that game as KC playing a really good game and the Colts playing a bad game rather than that being the most common outcome of those teams playing 100 times.

Colts are the best team on 3rd down all year, go 0-9 against KC. That seems like it might be an abberation.

I think the horrible weather was quite bad for Lucks shoulder.

Colts just need home field, which is gonna be a challenge as long as Mahomie’s around.

Chiefs were also rested and clearly a lot more fired up. It didn't seem to me like Luck made a lot of mistakes or missed open guys much. Seemed like the Chiefs D, which already was 10 pts. better at home, just played way above their heads. Also Hilton was a little gimpy by most accounts.

Uh, no. Luck kept firing missiles like three feet off the ground into his linemen’s butts and defensive linemen’s rib cages.

Luck was awful.

Hah, at least those are two names I'd heard of before the season, they're running guys like Zach Pascal and Mo-Alie Cox out there
