Of course, Gruden saw a black guy acting out and immediately cut him. Gotta do that to your All-Pro players to show them that the white man is running things.

Neutral field -3 is basically a pick em anyway so i wouldn't get too carried away...plus Thursday night games have generally sucked for the away team so -3 makes sense.

Jets still winning this I hope

I can’t belive the browns only got a 5th for Gordon minus conditional picks if he doesn’t start. If you go through the last 5 drafts there aren’t many 2nd round WRs I take over Gordon even with his significantly higher than avg likelihood to be suspended or cause problems.

The NFL is very conservative. I, too, find it hard to imagine there wasn't a team that wasn't more interested but there is probably other information that teams know that the public may not. With that being said, TO was traded for a trash player and a 5th round pick in 2004 and in 2007 it just took a 4th round pick to get Moss and both had much higher sustained peaks than TO/Moss albeit with much higher price tags.

4th & 4 on opponents 49. Down 13 with 12:45 in the 3rd quarter

4th & 10 on opponents 35. Down 13 with 8:55 in the 4th quarter, 3 timeouts

Am I right in thinking not many coaches go for it in situation 1, but many go for it in situation 2?

Moss had already stopped giving a **** on the Raiders, TO had worn out his welcome in SF, then forced a trade to Philly when he refused to go to Balt that turned into a 3 way trade.

Not quite the same but all three teams that traded in these spots just had enough at that point and all 3 had whatever huge issue at the time they were dealt.

Brandon Marshall as well several times you could put in here too. Like the crazy hot chick, eventually you can't just take it anymore.

I think situation 1 many more go for it now than they used to but yeah they go for it in situation 2 more often imo

It’s the only way the Bbrowns can truly end the losing.

The critical information is known by everybody: he's played in 11 of the Browns last 64 games, and the problems that caused the absences haven't gone away. He is worth a flier but nothing more.

With Gordon seems like if he has either no success, or a lot of success, there will be drugs. Pats fans are rooting for him to be 50/600/4 or something. Much better and it's party time.

Would be classic if within 30 days of Gordon becoming a Patriot, Gronk is suspended for illegal substances, lol.

Would go with the entire FG team is important, there are some stats that showed one specific punter (I think the Tampa guy last year) had a ridiculously poor record with about 4 different kickers including Aguayo, so its possible the holding was the issue.

I doubt a great one is worth that much though. Even if they pot everything it might encourage someone like Mike McCarthy to TRUST HIS KICKAHHHHH and make a bad decision because your kicker is relatively good.

Good kickers kick at 90% on FGs, replacement level 75%, so its not going to cost games when teams on average make maybe 2-3 FGs attempts a game.

As a Cowboys fan who thinks they are lol this year, I don't think they can be below the Titans, Skins, Colts, Lions. When Gregory and Irving dress (which is soon) they have a top 10 D easily. So they're closer to 20th which is still bad, and they should feel bad.

Lions way too high. They're a pretty bad team. IMO it's more fun to rank the bottom of the league which I'd have as

32. Bills
31. Cardinals

Pretty big gap

30. Giants
29. Lions
28. Raiders
27. Jets
26. Browns
25. Seahawks

Some HOFers got together to ask the NFL for more money. They want health insurance and an annual salary. I wish I had the balls to ask my former employers for an annual salary and health insurance.

BTW, I thought everyone in the league for x years already got a pension?

Take away the one play that Austin housed and Dak had less than 100 yards passing, and his receivers are not going to get any better.

If Dallas are going to win (fwiw, they are actually the team I follow :/ ) it is going to be a lot of 13-7 type junk. It reminds me of 2015 with Cassel that they just couldn't score if they got behind and that is going to happen a lot going forward.

Seattle vs Dallas game spread might be about 33.

Qualified players get a pension from the NFLPA, not the NFL itself.

Wait, that's wrong. OJ simpson gets a pension from the NFL. So I guess it's players from a certain date.

The guy they got lit up by also lit up the Eagles for 4 TDs and 400 yards, so they are hardly alone in that.

The Browns defence is actually pretty reasonable as well.

It is probably a little on the high side, but I think they would still be favourites or close to it for the division.
